I am an Assistant Professor of Statistics at Cal Poly in beautiful San Luis Obispo, California. I teach statistics courses at a variety of levels, usually focused on or incorporating computing in R.
My current research interests are in developing R tools for education, applications in the the Digital Humanities, and methodologies for high-dimensional clustering
I am also a Certified RStudio Trainer; please contact me to inquire about availability and rates. I offer reduced and free rates for underserved communities, especially at the high school level.
My personal interests include travel, camping and backpacking, board games, and the San Jose Sharks.
